AN: AU story and I do not own Naruto or any of the characters just my OCs
After the death of his wife Sakumo thought he wouldn't find love again, so he focused on being a father to his son Kakashi and protecting the Leaf village. He was happy, and content raising his son, but he missed having someone by his side. He tried get back into the dating world, but none of the women he encountered left a lasting impression on him. That is until he meets Miyuki.
Miyuki thought she was done with love after the death of her abusive husband. After escaping that nightmare with her daughter Hikari, Miyuki moves to the hidden Leaf, opens a bakery, and plans on restarting her life. With her focus on her business, helping her daughter becoming a ninja, Miyuki has no time for relationships. That is until a certain White Fang swoops her off her feet.
Neither thought they'd fall in love again but when they did, they wasted no time getting married. Now a blended happy family, Sakumo and Miyuki live happy lives raising their children in perfect bliss. That is until a decision on a crucial mission causes Sakumo to be ostracized by the village, he ends up taking his own life. Brokenhearted by grief and hatred for the villagers, Miyuki drowns her sorrows in alcohol, completely forgetting about Kakashi and Hikari; soon after she passes away from liver failure and alcohol poisoning.
Kakashi and Hikari are now orphaned, but they're not alone. Kakashi, not wanting to make the same mistakes as his father, becomes cold-hearted and takes on a "by the rule" mindset, but that doesn't stop him from carking for Hikari; who hasn't been same cheery kid she use-to be. Through all the drama and stress of the ninja world, the step siblings find love and comfort with each other.

★••••★ This is a Naruhina story that takes place right after the pain attack and continues all the way until they're young adults. Naruto realizes his feelings for Hinata as he spends more time with her but puts them aside. War being right around the corner, he couldn't help but grimace at his decision to confess to her when it was announced and didn't think it was appropriate when everyone is so stressed about it. Naruto does not remember that Hinata confessed to him at all. Childhood traumas further prevent him from expressing his feelings. Hinata, meanwhile is saddened that Naruto doesn't remember her confession but decides to not bring it up. Protecting herself from further embarrassment. When the war was announced she distracted herself by getting stronger. She wanted to improve herself. ★••••★ A/N: I'm going to boost most of the characters skill sets and flesh out their potential that was wasted in the series. Did the whole cast dirty imo. The story will be edited/fixed after completion. P.S. Naruto will not be Ashura's reincarnation. However Sasuke will still be Indra if that makes sense? Naruhina will be reincarnations. Even if the name isn't Japanese I thought it would fit her nicely. This is a Kakashi x OC story but I don't want that to be the WHOLE focus of it. I want to really emphasize her relationships with the other characters as if she truly were a part of the show. What a sucky character she would make if she were only there to be Kakashi's love interest right? My goal is to make her seem as if she could be a believable character in the show. This was also written with the way the anime is made in mind. I will be adding my own arcs to the story to spicy things up and not bore you to death with things you have already watched. WARNING: will contain mature content at some point (not when they're still kids, duh) This story will have three parts (all in this same book, I'm not making three different books) dividing the different time periods of the show.
