Yet Fenghua could save his nation soul. He traveled to the Great Wall to meet his foes. To his armies, he promises a miracle and to his foes, a painful death. All he needed to do was hold out long for everything to fall into place. If he couldn't, then the Han's legacy face eradication.

He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink.
