Fenghua knew the war to be lost the moment the noble came to him. Reports were grim. Only a fragment of the Imperial Han Army remains. The Emperor fled to behind the Great Wall as the enemy army conquered all. And now they asked for a dying demon to save them all. No matter how Fenghua looked at it, the war lost.
Yet Fenghua could save his nation soul. He traveled to the Great Wall to meet his foes. To his armies, he promises a miracle and to his foes, a painful death. All he needed to do was hold out long for everything to fall into place. If he couldn't, then the Han's legacy face eradication.

In a village few miles from Ciayi Town, Wei Wuxian grappled with the realization that he had been resurrected with the purpose of being targeted by all the sects all over again, so that in standing against a common enemy the cultivation world unites once more.
