The main character Carmen is a wolf. She has to live in a pack that kills humans. she doesn't want to when the pack leader (her father) targets Mary. Mary is Carmen's human friend she has to make a decision to kill her one and only friend she has ever had or stay with her family or stay with her family and live her life with shame. What her father doesn't know is that Carmen is pregnant with a litter of five. The pressure is on her to make a decision. What will Carmen decide. find out in Against the Pack.
