Welcome to Vesmir Corperations: The future of humanity. With Earth dying, the only way for humans to survive is to forge ahead into the Final Frontier, and Pandora Vasco is the woman for the job. Along with a small team of fellow scientists, Pandora is sent into space to terraform Venus, almost single handedly expected to make the planet inhabitable. However, things don't go according to plan. Over three years later, Pandora is alone on a planet that can't be tamed, living each day with the guilt and fear forced onto her as she carries the weight of humanity's future on her shoulders. 

This was my creative writing final for school. It's not a perfect story, but I felt like it was still worth sharing. This story was heavily influenced by my visit to Biosphere 2, a lab down in Oracle, Arizona. It's truly incredible, and well worth the time if you want to look into it!Todos os Direitos Reservados

On December 21, 2012, without warning, the Solar System suddenly got transported into another world. Humanity quickly noticed the change in the skies and in the cosmos. As panic spread, all human devices were disrupted, gadgets shut down and telecommunications went static. A mysterious woman then appeared on every screen, claiming to be a goddess. It was revealed that she was the one who summoned the Solar System, explaining that she had done it for a reason that she's been searching for life beyond her cosmos for eons. She then wishes to learn more about humanity's way of life by sending her creations to Earth. What will come of humanity after this event? How will they cope with such an unprecedented phenomenon unlike anything in Earth's history, especially that it occurred right on the date that humanity feared the most: 21st of December, 2012, the date that many feared to be the end of the world? It examines how not only humanity, but also the otherworlders, and even the lesser gods adapt to this new reality. It explores themes of astronomy, philosophy, science, geopolitics, sociology, psychology, history, culture, economics, ethics, theology, and civilization convergence. She can accept an offer from an infuriating gen-eng man from Venus, grab her loyal cat + dig up her inner rebel and maybe become the first human to explore the Galaxy. In order to embark on a mission to discover alien life on the icy moon of Jupiter Maria must leave her life on Earth behind, including her father and her seven-year-old son Diego. She thought the hardest part of the mission would be saying goodbye, but little does she know what awaits her and her crew on Europa, an environment that has never been explored from the surface until this mission. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? Note: This story was written during a challenge to write an entire book in one week! Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. I know a lot of people skip Prologues, however, it has important information that will give you a better understanding of what's going on in other chapters. Feel free to comment and vote. The first world is the key ____________________________ This tells the tale of two men who live at a point in time where the galaxy has been colonized and people are running out of new places to live. Governments have ignored this problem for eons, pressing forward while the people suffer behind them. Many desolate worlds exist that cannot support life, but the technology exists to terraform them in a short amount of time. The increasing demand for new planets is insatiable, however, and barely habitable worlds are being colonized despite the incredible risk. The men search these worlds in the hopes that they might find one where life exists such that its example could be used to save the whole galaxy from its many ecological crises, bringing a balance between progress and long-term survival. Instead they come across the worst case scenario- a worldwide environmental collapse. Their story begins here.

Self-Assembly Required: Human civilization has been almost entirely destroyed by a catastrophic plague of nanites, but one city remains, hidden and protected by Hydra, a team of all-female nano/human hybrids. Is the arrival of a roguish, lone-wolf mercenary a sign that human civilization is recovering, or the event that could destroy the few remaining survivors? The Woman from Mars: The robotic crew of the Basilisk thought humans were gone, long gone. But when they are sucked back in space and time to Jupiter's moon Europa in 2552, they discover a Viking civilization with the technology to rebuild human civilization - assuming the woman from Mars can complete her mission. Blasted Futures is a short story collection. After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!)
