Maisy is different from the rest of her community. She differs in the way she acts, the way she sees things, the way she thinks. Why, do you ask? Here's the thing. Somehow, Maisy knows something the rest of her world doesn't, something that she longs for.
When her small rebellious actions of thinking and acting differently catch up to her, she's left wondering why her whole life is controlled by people who don't think like her. She doesn't like being controlled and all she wants is to break free, because it seems as if the people controlling her are doing everything wrong.
Except for one thing.
But they just have to ruin that too, don't they?

DISCLAIMERS
~ This is a dystopian/utopian type of story, if you're not into that, there are many other great books waiting to be read by you.
~ There are many time skips in this story, time skips that skip a LOT of time. If you don't like how fast the story goes then I suggest you don't read it as well.
~ Grammar and spelling are by no means perfect. I'm human, I make mistakes. If that bothers you... well you do you boo.
~ This story is INSPIRED by the book Son by Lois Lowry and the Matched series by Allie Condie.
~ The way the system works in my book is completely made up from the squishy thing in my head. If you see anything like my work, I probably haven't read it (because I've never read anything like this before, I guess) so I assure you that I have not copied the idea.
Last of all, I just want to say, please give my book a chance. Even just the first chapter? I'd be eternally grateful to you. I hope you enjoy :D

Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)Complete
A Whole Different Life (Book I)
"What would you rather? Floating in eternal darkness or...serving me? As my champion?" "Honestly? Neither, why in the world would I choose to be a servant in my next life?!" "Hm, then I suppose-" "Wait, I wasn't finished." She let out a sigh, trepidation heavy in my mind. She's spent her entire life in a world that was 50/50 for her...school was rough but she had companions. Her home life was great but it had its ups and downs. She was beautiful! But...she didn't feel that way. Perhaps another life could give her that? A sense of renewal, a chance to be someone better and greater than the person she originally was. "But! I'll take the latter, I could use a change. A chance to be a different me is always appreciated. After all, it's not like I'm going to be a world-renowned hero right?" ___________ What happens when you die? Do you go to a religious after-life? Akropolis
"Any thought you ever had; memories, desires, your fears and your dreams, are all recorded and stored safely in the Quantum Cloud for your eventual revival. Death is now merely a transitional period to the next stage of your existence. As a QUBIT (quantum processing biosynthetic), you will experience a life free of disease and suffering. Time is no longer your enemy. Regret is a thing of the past. Each new day brings the promise of endless possibilities, spent in the pursuit of your own happiness, guiltless with the knowledge that there are no longer earthly constraints to inhibit you. This is the life you have always wanted. Welcome to your new beginning..." Akropolis is a city at the end of times, a sanctuary where the brightest and best have been housed since the last Great War. A genome defect has afflicted the majority of the population and scientists are desperate to find a cure. In the meantime, man has found his own salvation in the form of the QUBIT (quantum processing bio-synthetic), an android that is capable of prolonging life almost indefinitely, and yet what makes them human in the first place has been lost in the transition. The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. Trey is the soldier that defines duty. Misao is the future of the ruling council. Claire is the girl with a secret that will rock the foundations of their entire civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the entire fate of Akropolis lies in their hands. Either humanity will find a way to survive or it will sink slowly into the sea of extinction.Complete
Fine Line
Sometimes in life we draw invisible lines... Kadence Martin drew many of them, to protect herself, to make sure the rules were never broken. She lived by a strict moral code, one she thought was the safest... but she didn't realized what was beyond those lines. Harry Styles knew no boundaries... he lived by a code, Kadence didn't understand. Harry crossed every line she put between them, until one day she caved, and so did every thing around them. They blurred the fine lines together... pushed the other in ways they never thought possible... Kadence gave him hope, a new way of looking at life. Harry turned her black and white world into a Kaleidoscope of color, showing her that maybe, just maybe, even though their worlds were so different, they were the same within that Fine Line. *** I am by no means a doctor, so some of the things in this book might be horribly incorrect on the medical terms... because I made most of it up... so just go with it. It is just fanfiction. And I might have borrowed a few things from Greys Anatomy** ***Harry's album is absolutely my favorite so I couldn't help this*** ***Please vote and comment.... I write all of this for fun, and I don't publish unless I have alot of chapters, because I like being able to read more than just one chapter a week. Each chapter contains at least 1500 to 2300 words.*** ***There will be mistakes, and I will get to those, I promise.*** ***Again please vote and comment*** All my love :)Complete

Don't Leave Me
"Stand up.", he said to me. "What?", I asked confused. "STAND UP.", he ordered slightly aggressive. I quickly got up from the bed and stood in front of him. "Take off your underwear.", he demanded. "Wh-" "Now." Doing what he told me to I slowly slipped my underwear off. I was now completely naked as his eyes roamed over my whole body again. "Lay down on your back." Once again I obeyed him without talking back this time which caused him to smirk. Then he grabbed my hands and cuffed them to the bed frame. My eyes widened and as I was about to ask him what he's doing he held up one of his hands. Understanding his signal I remained silent. "Good girl", he whispered in my ear. ------------------- Emily Potters, a 21 year old girl, had to run away from her dark past. Seeking shelter in New York, she battled her way through the darkness. My Dear Reader Rebecca
What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words. Disclaimer: Everything here is fake, never happened and completely fabricated by my wild imagination. The story has nothing to do with Wattpad or any website, because seriously, nothing is real here. If someone happens to have a similar experience, that's just coincidence. Copyrights of Becca Franco, Bill Cadogan and "The 100" TV series belongs to The CW Network.Complete
