Raelynn Dunnbar was only seven when her parents died from a terrible incident, after their final experiment on her. David and Vivian Dunnbar wanted to give Raelynn strength and the ability to kill their enemies so they wouldn't get caught; the plan was to make the girl, their own personal assassin. 

After the death of her parents, Raelynn ran away to New York City to the only man that could help her survive with her powers. The final experiment not only gave her strength and speed ability but it also triggered the rest of her powers that were already with her when she was born.

A story in which America's favorite Captain gives a new life and family to a five-year-old girl who has suffered well beyond her years... During an intense Hydra-disassembly mission, the Avengers are able to successfully detain countless Hydra personnel, as well as several of the evil agency's test subjects. But in the midst of the harrowing scene, America's favorite Captain is asked to investigate the final holding cell in the experimentation lab. Steve Rodger's never expected to be a father, especially not to an enhanced teenage assassin and agent but nevertheless he falls inlove with the kind hearted, funny and sweet girl that lays underneath the walls she has put up due to the years of hardship. And who knows maybe she will find her special someone... after all even assassins deserve to find love.
