Katalynia can't seem to remember what she is. All she knows is what her adoptive parents tell her: that they found her washed upon the shore 2 years ago with a pendant around her neck. She is 17 now, and helps her parents find ships lost at sea. Her whole life they have searched for one ship, one with deep, dark secrets: Titanic. One day, Katalynia is swimming in the depths of the ocean, where she finds the sought after ship, and something...or someone else. He tells her his name is Arden, that he knew her on the ship in 1912. But she doesn't know if she should trust him. What secrets about her does he know, and how is the Titanic part of their pasts? Best friends Ben, Justin, and Edie are surprised and excited to wind up on the same tropical cruise together. Their parents? Not so much. Ben's father Hank used to be good buddies with Justin's father Frank--but the two men have drifted apart over the years. Unbeknownst to Hank, Frank had been dating Janet at the time, and she ended up dumping Frank just before he met Hank. I'm surprised that I'm still standing on the rock and haven't been tossed into the whirlwind. Huge waves crash down upon the rocks making deafening sounds.
