On her senior year at high school, all Darrow thinks she has to worry about is her new pixie-cut and what everyone will think of it. But then suddenly her supposed to be best friend Sonny, turns against her and bullies her. It would be easier to avoid her if it wasn't for the fact that she was in a private school. She tries to befriend the other girls but none of them seems to want to hang out with her. And she finds that loneliness and rumors are beginning to ruin her life. She just wants to survive high school and go to college and be left alone. But when Gabriel, the new cute guy in her class tries to reach out to her, she might not be left alone at all. And she might survive.
But he seems to be someone else then she thought he was...
