Then there's a double murder.
A couple with a legendary reputation for hunting monsters is found dead. Mayor Ellis Crane of Colorado Springs thinks someone is covering it up, so she seeks the help of her brother, George Crane, Henry's father. However, George refuses to help.
Henry, however, never could win a battle against curiosity, and as he and his best friend and adopted brother, Melbourne Stein, get deeper into the investigation, dark secrets they thought dead and burned return.
