Abby wanted to know more of her street's history. She comes across an old story in the towns history. So she goes and investigates Sarah Blue.
Sarah and Connor Blue just moved in a nice, remodeled home. They loved the house. Just not the neighborhood. There weren't many kids, houses were abandoned, and everyone stayed inside. Sarah regretted buying the house now. She would hear foot steps, faint screams, scratching, and doors banging.
Connor just thought she was scared of the new house. Sarah new something wasn't right. She did some research and found out that their home, used to be a secret asylum. She also asks some neighbors what they know about this. What dose Ruby, one of the old women who lived there for her whole life tell her. But who or what is making the horrifying noises. Will Connor believe her, or maybe she might need to go to an asylum.

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room.
