A human girl, some loosely humanoid aliens, some pegasus, and a whole ton of new monsters. What could go wrong? How about that Fate is trying to stop them at every turn, or that what they have to do should be implausible by our scientific reasoning, or maybe that if they fail all life on this planet on the other side of the multiverse will all stop existing? Success means the death of one, but failure means the death of thousands. Arena, the fifteen year old that is the key, has no clue what she's doing and really couldn't care less. If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Not only is he fighting against time, but the Boogyman decides to make Jack a target. Will he learn his lesson? Or will he die in 3 months time? If he is to survive, what will happen next? What will happen to Pitch? **This book is not all light hearted, there are serious topics included in it.**
