His father told him to move to Vegas, work at the diner, and grow up. Parrish is talented, but he's been taking a break from his talent since college. He's never been in love but he sure has slept around. He knew Amelia was different. Parrish couldn't stop thinking about Amelia since that first conversation they had in the quiet room, in the back of the diner. That feeling was so foreign to him, but at the same time he was fascinated by how she made him feel.
