Ignis, the element of fire, is sent to banishment by his kin, the other three elements, because he wants human kind to survive. The elements want to end human life due to the growth of the seven deadly sins. They fear these sins will turn humans into complete monsters that will destroy Earth.
After banishing Ignis, the elements split Earth into three different divisions. Division one is known as Glaciem Aetate and is ruled by Aqua, the element of water. Division two is known as Tenebris and is ruled by Umbra, the element of shadow. Division three is known as Ingenti Ferox and is ruled by Terra, the element of earth.
Five hundred and ninety three humans survive this deadly terror. It is up to them to save Ignis, and all of human kind while fighting through the terrors of all the divisions and the seven deadly sins. As Ignis sits, waiting for his chosen to rescue him from banishment, he can only wonder if they will survive the Great End.

The 5 Elements
Earth, water, air and fire are the four known elements that gives balance and harmony to nature. There is also another element but not quite as known as the other four, this element is spirit. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Around the world there are many children graced with a gift to be able to do an element but they would have to learn to control it. If unable to control their element, there will always be destruction following in their paths. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - But it is extremely rare for a child to have more than one element as well as being able to control the fifth element. No one knows who this child is, but once they find out they'll need him/her to save the world.
