Mar is a child of the cosmic god of darkness and lives at Ulysses Academy where the children of the cosmic gods go to learn about their abilities they inherit from their parent, and how to survive with them.  While she is a child of darkness, the other cosmic gods as well have children who go to the academy as well.

It is not unusual to get  new children, but a new kid shows up who tells them that the original king and father of the gods, has told him that the old power of the ground is coming to claim his throne and that it needs to be stopped otherwise the shreds of reality will fall apart itself.

So the fate of reality and life as we know it is up to some teenagers.

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.
