Dwayne and Emily's relationship first started when they were sixteen. It didn't last because their ideas of how they wanted to live their lives didn't match. They both saw a future but a different one from each other and both decided it was not worth holding onto if they can't see eye to eye. So they chose different paths to walk and thought they would never cross again. 

Thats what they thought until five years later it leads them right back into each others lives. They soon began to rediscover their love that they buried in the past and try to denie it in fear of their futures changing but soon realize they cannot.
