A war ravaged the Fae world. The king and queen were dead, and the sole heir to the throne was missing. The new ruler in stand, Xefey, ruled with blood. Hunting down anyone and anything who crossed him. He had a thirst for power and a thirst to rule all worlds. But the only thing standing in his way, was his brothers daughter and his niece, Andromeda.

Andie knew she was different growing up. Coming to the age of seventeen, and raised by her aunt, she had always known something about them was different, but especially with her. One night in winter, as she sat under the stars pondering the worlds that lay beyond them, she saw a shooting star and made a wish. But as she opened her eyes, she saw a person falling from the sky. Racing to the crash site not far from her cottage she found a man with pointed ears similar to her. He was badly hurt from the fall, and a slash marked his abdomen as if he was cut by a sword. Even though she felt the need to run, something in her convinced her to help this stranger, and because of that her whole life changed.

Zelpher was the lead commander of Xefey's army till recently. Banished after he realized Xefey was evil, cut down and sent to another world as punishment, Zelpher hoped he would die as he free fell through a night sky. But when he awoke, sore and wounded, she gazed upon the most beautiful face he'd ever seen, and was even more amazed to realize she was a high fae, of noble blood. What kind he had no idea, but he needed to know more. And he needed to find a way back to the Fae World before Xefey found the portal to this one, and destroyed it too.
