[[ The first book of the rewrite is out~ Check it out on my page! ]]

Cairo is a desert country dominated by fire magic. The Government is considered corrupt, the people are unhappy, and a rebellion is stirring in the depths that's set on shaking the country to its core.

Living with the citizens are creatures called Kleptos--card spirits who control powerful magic. Among them is the Fire Kleptos, Aerie. Her Pyrroh is the Fire Mage, Cairo, the boy genius named after the country. Tagging along with them is their adventure-seeking friend, Cane.

Aerie can't remember her past. There's something about her that's different, and if there's one thing for sure, it's that she's no ordinary Kleptos.

Cane wants truth and justice to prevail. The first step is getting through to the Government, but it's torn apart just like the country.

Cairo is helping Aerie gain her memories. While he travels around the country in search of clues, he's thrown right into the middle of all the trouble.

But Aerie might just be the key to something much larger than anyone could have imagined. As Cairo continues to search for her memories, a past full of secrets is brought to life that might just change the course of history.

The year is 2415, the world has both evolved and devolved. It isn't how people imagined. Flying cars, robots in every house, telekinetic pencils. No, they are only in comic books. Self driving cars. No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.
The Memory Auction by xxxxxxxxxyzsam
19 parts Complete
In a dystopian bazaar that exists outside time, people trade memories like currency. You can sell your happiest moment to buy a skill, or auction off your heartbreak to erase someone else's. But the more memories you lose, the more your identity fractures-and some traders aren't even human anymore. Chaotic Structure: Each chapter is written from a different memory's point of view. Time jumps erratically-sometimes forward, sometimes backward, sometimes sideways. Characters forget who they are mid-scene and start behaving like someone else. The narrative is interrupted by "memory glitches"-pages with corrupted text, missing words, or surreal imagery. The climax is a bidding war where the protagonist tries to buy back their childhood, but someone else already owns it. Main Character: A girl named Kira, who wakes up with no memories and a receipt for something she doesn't remember buying. She's determined to find out what she sold-and why it was worth everything And Aarav, Role: The Memory Broker Backstory: Aarav was once a neuroscientist who tried to cure his sister's amnesia by experimenting with memory transference. When the experiments went wrong, he lost his own memories and became a broker in the Bazaar-trading fragments of identity for survival. He now wears a mask made of old receipts and speaks in half-remembered proverbs. Personality: Mysterious, philosophical, and emotionally guarded Speaks in riddles and metaphors, but occasionally breaks into raw vulnerability Has a soft spot for Kira, though he pretends it's just business Conflict: He holds the key to Kira's lost childhood-but selling it might erase his last connection to his sister. Their destinies are tangled in a web of forgotten truths, and only one of them can reclaim what was lost without losing themselves.

When Nina Happened

15 parts Complete

Aarav never believed a random Instagram group chat could change his life - until Nina. What began as late-night banter turned into secret conversations, stolen confessions, and a bond neither of them expected. But Nina's world isn't simple. With parents who monitor her every move, a "perfect daughter" mask she's forced to wear, and a secret rebellion of quiet sips and louder dreams, she lives two lives: one the world sees, and one she hides. Aarav becomes the only one who knows both. When fate brings them to the same college, their connection only intensifies. From whispered calls to midnight sneak-ins at his flat, from laughter in crowded classrooms to tears behind locked doors, their love becomes an intoxicating mix of chaos and comfort. They fight, they break, they heal - but above all, they choose each other, again and again. This is not just a story of love; it's a story of freedom found in another soul, of rebellion dressed as romance, of secrets heavy enough to break but beautiful enough to hold. In a world that wants them apart, Aarav and Nina learn that the most unforgettable love is the one you're willing to risk everything for.
