Sa aking pagkakaidlip, ako'y nagising. Nakayapak lamang sa damuhan, naka suot ng puting kamiseta at may hawak na pulang lobo. Hindi ko alam kung bakit at kung paano ako nakarating dito. "Mahal!" Dinig kong boses mong umalingawngaw sa kawalan. Nilingon kita ngunit hindi ka nasilayan ng aking mga mata. Nagsimula nang mangilid ang mga luha. At pumatak. Sa pagpikit ng aking mga mata ay siyang pagbukas ng aking palad mula sa pagkakahawak ng puting sinulid na karugtong ng pulang lobo. Ito'y unti-unting lumipad, pilit tinatangay ng hangin palayo sa akin. Sinundan ko ito ng tingin hanggang sa tuluyan na itong naglaho. Ang bughaw na langit ay unti-unting naging kulay abo. 
  
  Nagising ako sa nagngingitngit na tunog ng orasan. Isang panaginip na naman. Lumingon ako sa aking kanan upang ikaw sana ay hagkan. Ngunit ang pananabik ay naging hikbi sapagkat ikaw sa aking tabi ay wala pala.
