When an asteroid hits the sun and causes it to spin out of orbit, the world goes dark in more ways than one. Lack of certain nutrients from the sun causes a disease to soon spread, called the Dark Flares. Soon, friends and family's are at each others throats, the Dark Flares causing them to turn on who they loved most. When Ash Darwood and Thomas Harlow are caught up in a fight with the notorious Blazer gang, they have to constantly watch their back. Oh, and watch out for The Hunter...
