Indra Ōtsutsuki has always had a different view of the future. He sees the world as a dark, sinful place. He fears his new invention, ninjutsu, will drive humanity further along the path of darkness, using Ninshu not only as a means of controlling chakra, but using it to inflict harm.
But Indra's ideals soon change, as he begins to break his own rules, defying the boundaries of his invention. And between the mysterious figure he keeps seeing in the forest, his younger brother Asura, and his father Hagoromo, Indra must decide which path he wants to walk along for himself.
