Layla Heartfilia and Jude Heartfilia, King and Queen of the kingdom called Magnolia, were blessed with a baby one night. But Layla had problems during birth and the town's guards searched for the sacred herb of healing, Cecilia.

The guards ground the flower into a bowl and Layla drank before giving birth to a beautiful blond baby girl named Lucy Heartfilia. She had long silky hair that grew longer every night.

One silent night, an old woman came and snatched Lucy from her parents, hiding her away in a tall tower deep in the woods.

There, Lucy grew into a gorgeous 17 year old that knew her mother as someone who saved her from danger when she was young.
