Nhia, Narissara, Eli, and Eve don't dwell too much on the unnamed class on their schedules, but when their instructor, Mr. Porter, begins to perform arts beyond possibility, they find themselves all too eager to learn his craft and about the Umbra Viventis that thrive in the shadows. Appointed as Sentinel of their school, by an organization called the Shadowkeepers, Mr. Porter reveals it's his ambition to train these four into Visionaries, like himself. As a highly influential gang's territory expands to include Hmong Heritage High School, these students and their teacher will have to explore the strengths within every day humans, acknowledge the importance of culture and community, and understand the value of embracing your Vision.
