Casey didn't expect the summer after seventh grade to go the way it did. She expected to become the best player on her softball team who hit homeruns for her team, to be on a team that everyone lost against, and she even expected to have a summer romance with her boyfriend Isaac. But reality hits Casey right in the face. She isn't the best player on her team, her team can barely win a single game, and her boyfriend finds out that she is crushing on someone else, who is older then her. But things turn a little better when she starts to think that she is falling head over heels for one of her teammates brother, except when her boyfriend finds out. So its not the best summer ever that Casey wanted it to be, but that won't stop Casey from making it the best summer ever.
