At one time, I used to be a pirate. I used to be as free as the birds that fly over the ocean. I never followed rules or laws or anything like that. Of course, everyone has a code they live by. I did have pirate code, but... now that I'm no longer a pirate, I don't live by it anymore. Don't get me wrong... I don't mind not being on the ocean all the time, but I do miss it. It's a cover we used a long time ago, so I could get into the city. His father knew my parents. That's why he helped me. He found out about them getting killed, so... he helped me out. We are close, though. He is like a brother to me, and I consider him a brother. Moving on, here I am just... wasting my days away with Will. All we do is sit in his shop and make weapons. However... everything changes when an infamous pirate shows up out of nowhere. Everything turns upside down, after I meet... "Mistah Captain Jack Sparrow..." or.. Mistah J, as I like to call him, just to get on his nerves....

It's funny how wrong you can be about a person. You may think that you love someone for who they are, but they turn out to be the exact opposite. I know I was completely wrong about a few people. It's crazy how you may know someone, when really you don't know shit. Why are people so manipulative? Why? Does it turn them on or do they do it because it's "fun". I thought that life was supposed to be fun and exciting. All about exploring new things and learning nature. That's what we're either taught or told, but they're wrong. Life is cruel. It has no limits, no warnings, no nothing. Life...is deceptive.

They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. Or was I?

I have a stalker. I know everyone eventually has one and some are solved over time or through restraining orders. But let's take a moment and imagine this scenario; restraining orders, or anything in that nature, wouldn't solve the problem. There was nothing you can do to be free. This stalker can bounce up and over law boundaries, manipulates others, and the deceiving appearance makes others call you a liar. Even without those, this man is beyond what I now call normal. He's cruel and vindictive, and he puts criminals away for a living. He isn't the average stalker; he's smart. And when I say smart, well, that's something you'll have to see for yourself.
