I wrote this book to show the different struggles of being a teenager today school, sports, friendships, crushes, and the constant pressure to fit in. But beneath all that, I wanted to dig into something deeper: how easily a good person can be corrupted by their own mind, and how the fight against yourself can be the hardest battle of all. For Henry, Year 7 should have been simple. But when he begins seeing a shadowy figure that no one else can, his life twists into a maze of fear, blackouts, and broken memories.
