The Upset

Everything is black. I can't feel anything. I am completely numb. The only thing that seems to be working is my hearing. I can hear a beeping sound and people conversing with one another.
Xephor Baker moves in with her dad after their parents get divorced which means a new school, new faces, and a new team. Her dad was a major league baseball player who retired after Xephor's accident. He is now a coach for the baseball team at King's High.
Will Xephor's new team be accepting that she is a girl playing a men's game or will things fall apart at the seams?
