A meteorite, 5km in diameter, had smashed into America, and destroyed almost all of the continent. The remaining government struggled to control the survivors. War broke out, but after 2 brutal years a new government was established. The rich are in the sparkling city, living a life of luxury, while the poor rot in slums.
Ellie and her brother Ryan struggle in the slums, stealing to survive. But Ellie isn’t normal. She can clone herself, something that comes in handy a lot. However, Ryan realises he has a power too…
But the siblings are being hunted down by people that would do anything to get them back.
Why?
Because Ellie and Ryan are hybrids.

People have been trying to escape the hands of the organisation as they have learnt about what they do to the reliths. The reliths go through various experiments in order to enhance their abilities. It usually ends with the reliths dying. Even if they made it through the experiments, they had to suffer with the beatings they received to make them tougher . The year is 2040, and for the clones that were created during the brief run of a shady high tech company in the early 2020's, the time has come for them to become adults. Madelyn has been attending an all girls' boarding school with a large percentage of cloned girls for all of her academic life, and sees the changes in the girls as they approach graduation. Many of the clones were made from stolen DNA from supermodels, singers and actresses, and have almost no shot at a real future because of the sheltered way they were raised. They'd been isolated and completely dependent on the school and the families that ordered them as though they were nothing more than food on a menu. But not every clone is going down without a flight, as Madelyn finds out when she meets her new next door neighbor.
