mindless (An Umbrella Academy Fanfiction)

On the twelfth hour of October 1st, 1989, forty-three women gave birth to forty-three extraordinary children. None of these women were pregnant when the day began.

Eccentric billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves, managed to adopt seven of these children, and named them The Umbrella Academy. These children were raised to become superheroes and eventually save the world. Their names were numbers, and the children were numbered by Hargreeves himself.

This event occurred once more, on October 1st, 1995, when a pair of fraternal twins were born and their mother was not expecting to conceive when the day began. Both twins were born with extraordinary powers, and soon found and adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves. One twin was born with a scar which reached from the side of her nose to the end of her cheekbone, directly underneath her eye. The other had freckles the shape of stars and a birthmark the shape of a crescent moon on the side of her cheek. Other than these astounding birth factors, one twin also had pale skin, dark hair, and big blue eyes surrounded by thick, dark eyelashes, while the other had tan skin, hazel eyes (one golden, she had heterochromia), and brown hair. These two looked innocent and couldn't be any more different. Little did Hargreeves know the power resting inside each of these infants...
