Meet Mina: She is your typical teenager. She has loving parents, an adorable (sometimes annoying) baby brother, and admirable dreams of having a job one day where she can sleep late. That is, until her father dies in a car crash and her whole world turns upside down.
She barely has time to grieve for her father, when a George Clooney look alike knocks on their door and offers her a scholarship to a school that she's never heard of, in a town she thought only existed in fictional stories. She'd be annoyed by her blushing mother, but before she knows it she is shipped off to the new school in Ravenwood where professors teach criminology and circus, and your classmates all have extreme talents.
If she had any time, she would admit that she actually likes the new school, but she doesn't. She is too busy trying to figure out why all-star mystery boy, Tyron Pillay is avoiding her, greasy mafia look-alikes are chasing her, and how in the hell she ever got this scholarship?
