"Until the ashes of Eden fall" 
A statement whose meaning undergoes a drastic change over the centuries Aziraphale and Crowley have known each other. 

The Second World War was a rough time for people angels, not for demons, who rather danced on the pen of a hand grenade. Except for one. Crowley. Why? Because his fate was interwoven with the one of a special angel and it was precisely this angel who had to be saved.
The demon is forced to face to the ugliest side of mankind, which swallows him whole, like the purgatory once did.

Every higher power seems to have turned away from them. Captured in his own fight, he tries to save the most important treasure in his life.
However what will happen until the Ashes of Eden fall?

He made a gesture in the air that was somehow both completely vague and alarmingly crude. "With each other." Aziraphale's heart might just have stopped. "Think about it!" The demon stepped in front of him, shielding Aziraphale from the rest of the room as he leaned in. "We don't have to actually do anything", he said, voice lowered conspiratorially. "S'just gotta look like we are, yeah? No one's gonna suspect a thing. Just helping each other out to stay undercover." Yes. Right. Stay undercover. Aziraphale really needed to focus. ~oOo~ Or, the one where they participate in an orgy in Ancient Greece, because what else is there to do but fuck your supposed enemy in order to keep up covers?

The Nice and Fairly Accurate History of the demon Crowley and the angel Aziraphale, on their relationship over 6,000 years. Aziraphale and Crowley have known each other since the beginning, quite literally. From the gate of Eden to the end of the world, they have been there for each other- tempting, thwarting, and even helping (not that their respective head offices need to know). As the millennia go on, the two grow closer and closer, and there are words that both off them need to say, but neither do. It only takes the end of the world for them to get their heads on straight. "Bandages need changing", he mumbles, eyes fixed firmly on his working hands. "No. I meant-" He can hear as Aziraphale swallows. "Why do you care for me?" It isn't just 'why do you take care of me'. It's 'why do you still care at all'. Crowley has to close his eyes for a second, makes sure Aziraphale doesn't see. "Cause you're here", he says, voice carefully detached, "and you're hurt, and you need someone. And that someone's gotta be me." "Why?" He won't answer that. He can't answer that. "Don't ask stupid questions." ~oOo~ Or, the one where Heaven punishes Aziraphale the only way they know how, Crowley is there to help pick up the pieces, and maybe they can build something new and much more beautiful from both their broken shards. Warning for blood and injury, aftermath of physical violence, drinking as a coping mechanism, symptoms of depression - heed the tags!

Aziraphale begins to question the Great Plan and its purpose on love. According to this, a demon and an angel aren't made for each other. When Crowley finally shows up at his bookshop and tries to confess his feelings for the angel, he breaks up. Leaving an angry demon and a very sad angel. Not knowing what they gonna do. Little do both of them know that these weren't exactly the commands from God herself...
