Aya skal starte på kostskolen Woodside i USA. Hun møder særlige mennesker med samme interesser som hende. Da hun boede i Danmark flyttede hun skole et par gange. Hun blev altid set som klassens nørd, fordi hun havde matematik på et højere niveau end de andre i hendes klasse.
