She rubbed her cheeks bashfully and asked, "Is there something on my face?" I leaned a little closer and whispered softly, "Yes... there was something. I was just looking at the beautiful creation of God... wondering why I can never get enough of it." ________________________________ Then he slowly leaned closer, his warm breath brushing near my ear. I closed my eyes as a crippling pain spread through my soul. "You're my best friend and I love you" I tell him trying to hold back the single tear threatening to fall. Moon gets into some trouble and is sent to Military School for 4 years. That didn't stop Star from still being madly in love with him. She eventually gets a boyfriend and tries to move on. Upon his return she notices that she still has feelings for him that are fresh and strong. There's something different about Moon that scares her, and him being in a relationship didn't make the situation easier, will she fight the feelings for him and stay faithful to her relationship or give in?Complete

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life."
