Midoriya Izuku had enough of the life he was living, being bullied by the only friend he had for years, he was in a relationship he didn't know how to get out of, and he was always being watched over. He was in his father's shadow, the serial killer known as the "Fire Breather." They were afraid he was going to end up just like him. Sometimes, he was afraid he would too.
He was about to end his life by jumping off a building when a man showed up. He talked the boy out of the decision he was about to make, now he was working underneath him.
That's where he met Todoroki Shoto for the first time, the second time was at the entrance exam to U.A High for Prodigies. There was something there, he felt it. Did the other boy feel it too?

Finally, after two years he gets out, but he is a different man from before. His faith in himself falters, his confidence plummets, he was lost. Izuku falls for one of his best friends, Shoto Todoroki. The voice tells him that Todoroki wont love him, so Izuku believes it. Little does Izuku know, that Todoroki feels the same love for Izuku. "I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
