Nuestro Si? Si.

Mine (Pedri)
A new job can bring many changes to someone's life. It can bring many new emotions too. Including love...or heartbreak. Little warning: this is my first attempt at fully writing a toxic relationship. I have to warn you that these characters do a lot of things that will make you mad...but that's part of the fun sometimes, right?Concluída
Into the Velvet
*EDITORS' CHOICE 2021*After falling for her senior year teacher, Louise learns a harsh lesson on what adulthood isn't. Louise has some trauma to unpack. Heartbreak's a bitch, and her first relationship had been anything but normal. Thinking herself mature for her age, her affair with Mr. Cain started swooningly well. Except things ended quite abruptly. It's a lot for a seventeen year old to handle. But who's really at fault for what happened? Who even is Mr. Cain, and what is he hiding? From the wreckage of her naivety and self-esteem, can Louise save her friendships and rebuild herself? Our love songs aren't telling the whole truth. How can this be? In this tale of vulnerability, adolescence and painful reckoning, the arrogance of youth demands a price. * "'You're what, Louise?' he asked. 'You're sorry? What am I supposed to do here? How can I turn this around? How can I tell you that everything you want and feel is reciprocated, when I have to go back to work and pretend none of it happened?' 'I don't know the answer!' I cried. 'Neither of us do.' I threw my hands up in defeat. He caught them before they could fall. 'But how do I go back to living without your words?' His voice became a whisper. He squeezed my fingers tightly, closing his eyes and bringing them to his chest. 'I need how you make me feel, Luiza. I need it to feel alive. I won't stay away. No one's made me feel this good before. And I can't stand myself for wanting what I want. What do I do?' I was a violin bow on the verge of splintering. Every inch of me pulsed with an ache that began from the marrow of my bones. Fate had brought us here. At this crossroads of ours, there were a hundred different choices to make. A thousand different lifetimes to choose from, stemming from and decided entirely by my next choice. And in the end, I chose incorrectly. I held his face between my hands, feeling the echoing pulse of his skin. I brought his face to mine. I kissed him."Concluída

Five years ago, she was Isabella-a struggling girl who made a desperate choice, one that led to a single night with billionaire 𝐗𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧. She walked away without looking back, carrying a secret that could change both of their lives forever. With no meeting again, they both parted their ways but what if she meets him again after so many years but this time things have been changed. She is no longer that girl cursing her fate. Instead she wrote her fate herself. Will he be able to recognise her after five years and the secret she is hiding from him? Now, when she's back in America for the first time in years, ready to open an art gallery and leave the past where it belongs, her fate has other plans. When she unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Xander again, the life she built begins to crack. He's just as intense, just as dangerously handsome but he's also full of questions. Questions she isn't ready to answer. As old feelings resurface, so do buried secrets, ones that neither of them saw coming. But some truths were never meant to be found, and when dark secrets from their past emerge, 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.

Why Me ✓ (FINAL EDITS)
I pushed back my glasses and enquired, "Hi, did you call me?" I saw him smirk a little and then averted my gaze to anywhere but him. "Yes, Ms. Findlay. I did call you. I wanted to ask; are you the one who is making these new designs? Giving them finishing touches?", he asked pointing to the paperwork on his table. I didn't know why, but my throat had gone dry. So, I just nodded. He got closer to me and instinctively, I took steps away from him. Soon, he had closed the slightly ajar door and I was trapped between him and the door. We were so close that I could feel his breath near my neck. Slowly, he whispered into my ear, "What did you think, I would have forgotten you, Emerson? Do you think this is all a game?" I gulped. That was enough to confirm that he had definitely recognized me. I fake frowned and stuttered while trying to find the doorknob, "I...uh...I...I don't understand what you are talking about.....I...I...I think I should go." I finally found the doorknob, opened the door and practically ran out but, not before hearing him say, "If this is a game, so be it. Let the games begin." ____________________ Emma had only three goals since she was ten: grow mature, study hard and become independent.
