Samantha, the geeky outcast of the school, has always dreamed of becoming a famous guitarist. A famous singer, drummer, keyboardist. Anything, really. She's always had a strong passion for music, and the small band her and her best friend Vanessa have created isn't enough. So when Sab, famous drummer of the high-school-known-band "Burning the Stars" comes to see her play, it's a dream come true.
Sebastian, known as "Sab", lives with his two adoptive parents who try to hard to be his parents. The only thing that Sab enjoys besides music is his best friend Neil, his lead guitarist and singer in his band. When Neil decides to quit the band, Sab has a mission: replace Neil. So when Sab comes across Samantha and her keyboardist Vanessa, he reluctantly lets them join.
Sab and Sam slowly find themselves falling deeper into the music, and into each other. From different social classes, back rounds and opinions, the two fall deep into an epic love story of music, lust, love and friendship. They rock the world so hard, they may just change the stars.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

Watching your house burn down in front of you isn't exactly the ideal way to end your Summer. To most, this would be a nightmare, actually. Yet to Hailey Eller and her family, this was reality. After a gas leak leaves them homeless - but thankfully, unhurt - the Ellers are forced to relocate. And how convenient that their old family friends, the Reids, were kind enough to offer the Ellers a place to stay temporarily while getting back up on their feet. There was one problem, though. The Reids not only included the very quiet yet insightful Mr Reid and the cheerful chatterbox Mrs Reid, but also their three sons. The problem, to Hailey, at least, was their eldest: Callum Reid. Him, the popular jock with an arrogant atttitude, and her, the stubborn recluse, with her uptight, "nerdy" one. They couldn't be more different. Yet, now forced to share one roof, their dynamic begins to shift. Senior year will take them places, but maybe navigating it with their forced sense of togetherness won't be too bad. That, or they'd be the ones setting the house on fire this time.
