Mature
Natasha and Steve both grew up training together under SHIELD since they were little kids. The two have established a really close and special friendship at such a young age. Along with that, they also made a promise to be each other's partners, forever. They both sealed the promise with their pinkies and it was always a memory both of them will never forget.

As they graduated from the program, they went their separate ways. Steve stayed in New York to become a SHIELD Agent and Natasha went off to mentor the Red Room in Russia.

With much-unresolved feelings, how would the two handle each other when they finally see each other after so so many years?

This is my first story and it was in my head for a while so I decided to write it out. Obviously, I am a MARVEL fan but for the sake of the story, the information in the story will not be accurate. It is totally inspired by the characters but the storyline is totally different so please don't get confused with the names I'm going to be using.

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
