You stared at your empty check, a dry laugh leaving your lips.

"...heroes have it easy, huh?"

You crumbled the paper in your hand, silently panicking about your dinner, which looked pretty nonexistent now.

Being a kid wasn't fun anymore...

But you froze when the paper landed back in your face.

You looked back at the trash can, joking to yourself about how much your resembled it with tears eyes.

But what popped our freaked you out.
