Woken in a world ravaged by war, the planet is deteriorating quickly and Aeris is a lone survivor.  Her one hope of survival seems to be a strange man boarding what seems to be a space ship.  Left with the choice of death as the planet implodes or risk of danger from the unknown, she finds herself stowing away on his ship.  But as the ship shoots into the sky, she gets more than she bargained for and worse yet, is this stranger even a man...or something else?
