It all started with a dream. One kiss made Blake develop feelings for Yang. And this kiss wasn't even real. As days and weeks go by, Blake's feelings get stronger for her partner. Her beautiful purple eyes, her long flowing hair, everything about Yang she loved. And soon, Yang develops feelings for Blake as well. Neither of them say anything about it, though. And soon, Blake just stops talking to Yang all together. And it makes Yang very upset, along with Ruby and Weiss. Yang doesn't want to even look at Blake anymore, and she stops really talking to anyone. Blake basically does the same. So, you see, these are some of the problems with hiding.

I should say, although not a smut fic, there are some lemony parts with in this story. So if you don't like that, you were warned. But the heart of this story is the relationship between Yang and Blake. I also did not originally write this with chapters in mind, so breaking it up into chapters was a little difficult. In the midst her newly terrifying fate, Yang would need to learn to love and be loved again before midnight struck on her 21st birthday. But she began to grow weary. Hopelessness consumed her thoughts. For who could ever learn to love a beast? ~ I've seen maybe a couple AUs of the "Beauty and the Beast" theory between this pairing. I thought it'd be fun to write up another one! Just a heads up as well, Blake is "Beauty" and Yang is the "Beast". This will more closely follow the path of the Disney version, with a few slight changes to the main story. There's not much else to be said here, so I hope you enjoy!
