*A short narrative about a real-life event in the 20th century* The year is 1907, and Stella, a maid, is starting to suspect something unholy and sinful is occurring at the convent she works for. Sister Janina and Father Andrew are spending too much time together and alone, and strange noises can be heard in the night. Would Stella dare intervene to stop this sin from occurring? What lengths would she go, and just what would be lost?

In the summer of 1960, Liv killed someone who deserved it. But every action has a consequence... *UPDATE: I see I have some new readers! I'm starving for feedback so please feel free to leave me any. Even if it's horrendous, you little goblins. *I'm in the middle of editing this book and seriously considering (after a few beta readers brought up real concern about the ages) raising the protagonist's age. The idea to make her so young was to show how society has a habit of rubber stamping truly perverse behavior towards teenage girls, even though they are just that, girls. It happened in the 60's, it happens now. But I understand how reading it can be distressing. Also, sorry for any glaring grammatical errors, repetitious phrases or mistakes. This is a finished draft, but still a rough draft. Really, very interested in feedback, be it story beats, character, concerns with content. Any and all of it. Thanks!
