Aga Winters was 31 years old when trialled in 2074 for accessory to witchcraft. The United States of America had under gone a chemical war years prior that shut off the city of Mount Juniper from the world. Hysteria had soon broken loose, under the word of the new Beneditian Government, of women and children worshipping the devil.

It was like we were playing a sick game of chess, trying to guess each others movement's and at the same time, worrying about our own. Will she whistand the torture, will she handle it all? Or will she snap, will she bend and break like her father did, and his father before him? Morana, the Witch of Life

They are, however, not mates, and as such, he knows that any romantic relationship between them is doomed to fail. To not risk losing her, he therefore does all he can to fight his own feelings. [Can be read without having read volume one and two] ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence (magical mainly, but some that's rather bloody), death, attempted rape (happens in chapter 42 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fairly none-descriptive, focus is on emotions, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), abuse both physically and verbally - mention of past child abuse. I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing.
