River Gray has always fit in. She used to be the constant talk of the school. She was a star Basketball player for Valley Falls High and an outstanding Volleyball player. But all of the fantasy life she was living? Gone. Senior year she just shut off. She stopped sports, she stopped everything. But that's the thing, nobody knows why.

Ace Adler showed up out of the blue one day after being home  schooled for three years.  Another outcast. But after one simple class period, he finds a new fascination in a simple outcast girl. River Gray. The mystery girl, or as he likes to call her, Ghost girl. What he doesn't realize, is he's the key to finding River after she lost herself months before.

Once he turns 18, he'll be a legal adult and nobody will be able to separate him from his grandfather. He just has to hold out one more year. But it isn't easy. Everyone needs friends, and now this Anne girl has singled him out. Part of him aches for human contact, and he's not immune to her quirky sense of humor, but she might be totally insane. She's practically stalking him, and if he befriends her, she might find out about his grandfather and ruin his plan. But what if he just wrote her back?

Something is holding her back, it's something she wants to cure but she can't, it's something that has happened in the past, which haunts her till this day. Now, what will happen with both of these seemingly opposite personas when they meet each other? Leo being an introvert and with his unique mindset, has the ability to judge people on their behavior and tell how human relations work at an instinctual level. Whereas Chelsea with a mindset completely opposite of Leo and with ability even she has yet to discover but is pulled back by her shortcomings which can only be cured by Leo. Find out what is the thing that haunts Chelsea? Can it be cured? Can Leo help her? or will he reject her? Can Chelsea change Leo's mind and free him from himself? Will both of them come in terms with each other and help each other out? Or will both of them continue on their path of self-destruction?
