Tom Foster is a sorcerer living in a world under constant threat of war and he doesn't belong to either side. After being transported to the future under mysterious circumstances, he learns that his future-self has turned against all that he stood for and became one of Kinnley's most bloodthirsty and powerful generals. 
He joins Tess, Theo and Deek and they travel across the land trying to find a certain Doctor to cure Theo's fatal disease. They believe this mystical Doctor might be the only person that can send Tom back home.
