Yumi est contente, elle va enfin faire le voyage rêvé au temple de Shivarnez avec sa classe. Elle n'arrivera jamais à destination, et ses camarades non plus. La seule chose dont elle se souvient est "A l'année prochaine", mais qui lui a dit ça ? Ceci est son témoignage sur le pire voyage de sa vie et comment elle est simplement rentré a pied en ayant fait 1000 km.

Sa bawat hakbang, nagiging mahirap ang pagkontrol sa kaguluhan sa kanyang buhay-pag-takas sa gabi, clubbing, at pagkalulong sa bawal na gamot dulot ng pag-sama sa iba ibang kaibigan. Lahat ng ito ay naging paraan ni Viena upang matakasan ang kanyang pinagdadaanan, ngunit hindi nito naalis ang sakit sa kanyang puso. Sa kabila ng lahat ng ito, isang tao lang ang patuloy na nagmamahal sa kanya-ang kanyang half-brother na si Lucas. Ngunit dahil sa takot na muling maiiwan, tinanggihan niya ito, iniisip na hindi siya karapat-dapat sa pag-mamahal.
