The Eternal Rhapsody of Cassidy York

In the year 2050, time ticks quite literally for everyone inhabiting planet Earth. At birth, babies are attached to a clock that begins to tick the second these babies emerge from the womb. But these are no normal watches, rather they display not the current time, but everyone's clock varies, as they count down the time 'till you croak. Cassidy is a special case; with her watch having stopped the day she turned sixteen years old, she wanders the planet, searching for someone who can answer all her queries. Along the way, she meets up with Harry Ballard, the son of a wealthy leader, who agrees to help her on her journey, and together they embark on a quest to fix Cass's watch, perhaps never to return.
