This is a utopia to some and a dystopia to others, everyone is blind in this world, so no one can be judged by their differences. For some this is true peace and this is a true haven; however for others this is the worst fate possible. The ones that consider this a utopia are called Believers. The ones that consider this, unholy, world a dystopia are called the Renegades, but most just call them the Misfits. The Misfits have an old prophecy, in it there will be two children one a Believer, and one a Renegade. Both from different worlds, and both exact opposites. However they will bring these two worlds together. How? No one knows. Why? Is the even bigger question. And that's where this story begins.

Years ago there was a blackout. One day all the lights went out. The cars stopped running. Electricity no longer existed. Nothing that ran on electricity works anymore. People panicked and tried to survive for as long as they could. Some made it out of cities the others stayed. Our government fell and militias took control. The Monroe militia took over. Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go. One question I always have in mind is, In a world where hope is the only thing we have, Can love exist in the middle of all this war?
