Humans have always been suspicious of other creatures lurking where they couldn't see them. Fairies, trolls, mermaids. But what if I was to tell you that all of that was in fact true?

Mia and Seth have been living at Schneider's Home for the Parentless (a horrible joke) for a year now. Months of causing all sorts of trouble, Seth with the ideas and Mia trying to stop him, the director sent them straight off to the man that claims to be their uncle- someone they didn't even know existed. But the town has weird secrets. Whispers down the streets when they show up of a witch, their uncle being awfully suspicious due to the fact they aren't allowed to step foot in the library, his reasoning being it's under construction. But Seth was unsure. One night, Mia catches him breaking into the weird room. Just to prove that it was nothing, Mia helps. Except it's Mia that's wrong. One wrong move sends them hurtling into a world they didn't know existed. The kids hold a power no one else does. One people would kill for. Literally.
