Sirius is starting sixth year with ghosts of neglect and abuse on his skin. He is relieved to get away from his family, but some things you can never run away from.
Remus is starting sixth year with more scars covering his body than ever. The mental struggle of his werewolf transformations each month are hard enough. This year he has even more to deal with, when you're sixteen there's a lot to figure out about yourself.
James is starting sixth year with plenty of new ways to woo Lily Evans. His cocky, arrogant personality is just what made him James, but what if that isn't how to live your life?
Peter is beginning this year with a new confidence. He is tired of being the shadow of James and Sirius, and now he wants to learn how to stand up for himself.
One year away from being of age, the four Marauders are as close as ever. Will rifts form between supposedly ever-lasting friendships, or will the four standby each other through their hardest times?

Its been two years since the marauders have graduated. James and Lily are married with a baby on the way, and Sirius and Peter are very busy with the Order. Meanwhile, Remus is just trying to survive his transitions in such a volatile time. No one wants to hire a werewolf, and the Order isn't well enough equipped to handle the full moons. Dumbledore offers him a position at the Hogwarts library as an assistant. There he can do research for the Order, as well as spend his moons like he did during his school years. Tessa Downing is a sixth year Hufflepuff. After a summer of chaos and hiding, she's having trouble transitioning back at school. Constantly worried about her muggle parents, Tessa's grades slip and she begins to spend more time at the library. Thankfully the new assistant is willing to help her.
