"No, no it's only been a few minutes. I said to myself.
The drug would take at least half an hour to break down in my bloodstream. I was growing impatient. The rarity of LSD these days meant I could only get my hands on it a handful of times.
Relax. Be patient.
It was an incredibly simple mantra but it helped. I was waiting for the destruction of my mind in every way. A 'reset button' if you will.
If there is beauty in destruction, why not also in it's delivery? I thought.
The music became almost digitalized and it echoed through the untouched pieces of my soul more than it ever had."

After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Well, as normal as it could get for a teenage girl with giant metal wings stuck behind her back. ~~~~~~~~ "You remind me of Maleficent... But with blue wings... And definitely more badass." "Who?" " You know, the girl that poisoned Sleeping beauty?" "I repeat. Who?" "We are so watching that.
