Matthew Bridges is in trouble. His three year marriage has come to a screaming halt after discovering that his wife, Rose has been lying to him since the day they met.

Realising he does not even remotely know the person he gave his name to, Matthew becomes obsessed with trying to discover why Rose purposefully sought him out from the start. She is clearly hiding some terrible secret. And he will not stop until he solves the mystery and puts her behind bars where she belongs.

Rose indeed does have a secret. A secret she has fought hard to keep buried for the last several years. But now there is no further need. The cat is out of the bag, and there is nothing standing between her and her final endgame. Well, nothing except her furious husband, that is.

"Nate where the fuck have you been? It is three a.m. I have left you hundreds of messages." "Get the fuck out of my house." He said through his teeth. "Why what is wrong? What happened?" She asked as she smelled the whiskey in his breath. "You are a fucking whore. You are having an affair with my brother. How could you?" Things took an ugly tun when things turn physical. Nate suddenly grabbed her by her throat and pulled her to the table. "Shut up and sign." Her hands trembled as she signed the divorced papers. "There I signed the papers." She said as she began crying again. "I don't know why or what happened for you to do this but I love you." "Shut up!" He screamed at her before pushing her. He pushed too hard and she went through the glass side door. ***** "Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Last night about quarter past nine there was car accident but an eye witness told us exactly what happened and it looks like attempted murder." "What has this got to do with me or Ana? Wait you don't think I am hiding that bitch, are you?" "Mr. Davison please keep that big mouth of yours close or so help me I will arrest you for insulating a police officer. No, I don't think you are hiding That Bitch as you put it because it was Ana who was in the accident and I think you ordered the hit on Ana for revenge." "Why the hell would I do that to her?" "...because you found out that she hid your child from you." "He says he doesn't remember. But she's not so sure. She told him a lie - that he's her husband. And for a while, it worked. They lived in a quiet bubble, soft and safe, until shadows from the past started creeping in. Now, nothing feels certain anymore. Because sometimes, the most dangerous lie is the one you both start to believe. And love? Well, sometimes it's just another kind of lie."
